Magnum Electric Cable Underfloor Heating

Magnum Enercable is a 7mm thick cable with conductor and resistance wires. These are insulated with XLPE. The complete cableis encased in a 100% waterproof PVC case. By using Magnum spacer strips or by fixing direct to a steel mesh re-enforcing grid the cable can be laid quickly and simply prior to screeding. The minimum screed thickness is 30mm or 65mm when installed over insulation. For primary heating in a conservatory you will normally need 180Watts per square metre (depending on the level of insulation and effectiveness of the glazing). Therefore a 18 square metre conservatory will only need a 3300Watt cable system**. For larger conservatories multiple cables can be used. Use in conjunction with ENME Digital energy control clock thermostat.
