Lithofin MN Stain Stop is a ready to use, high quality impregnator. It is designed to penetrate all natural and artificial stone surfaces, coating the capillaries with an extremely thin, invisible, water and oil resistant film, to prevent staining and facilitate maintenance. Lithofin MN Stain Stop is ideal for use on wall and floor surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom, as well as on tabletops, windowsills and other sensitive surfaces. It does not change the colour of the material and is UV-resistant, therefore will not yellow with age.

Instructions for use

Note. Non-absorbent surfaces cannot be impregnated

• Thoroughly clean the surface to be treated and allow to fully dry
• Apply Lithofin MN Stain-Stop generously and evenly until the surface appears wet
• Keep the surface wet for 5 to 15 minutes and ensure even distribution (do not allow product residue to dry on the surface)
• After 15 minutes remove any excess (if there is no excess, typical of a porous substrate, wait 1 hour and repeat the process)
• After 30 to 40 minutes the surface will be dry and ready to be walked upon
• The complete drying process and impregnation effect will take approx 5 days
  Coverage for polished surfaces is approx 12-25m² a litre, rough/honed granite is approx 5-7m² a litre and porous sandstone is approx 3-6 m² a litre

Recommendations

Heavily used surfaces such as kitchen counters should be retreated once a year. To increase durability, regularly clean / maintain impregnated surfaces with Lithofin MN Easy-Clean.
