Schlüter®-BEKOTEC is a modular screed system used to create crack free floating screeds for coverings made of ceramic or porcelain tiles, natural stone, parquet flooring, carpet and other materials.
The Schlüter®-BEKOTEC system can be constructed very quickly, is thin, will not buckle, removes the need for movement joints in the screed, and does not develop tensions.
Reduced shearing tension eliminates cracking.
Schlüter®-BEKOTEC screeds can be heated after only 7 days. A normal screed takes 28+ days to cure.
Buckling of the system or tile covering is virtually impossible - even with temperature variations.
Compared to conventional screeds, a Schlüter®-BEKOTEC system saves up to 37mm in height (dependant on panel used).
Suitable for loads of up to 5kN/m2.
Only 57kg/m2 or 28.5l/m2 of materials are required.
As soon as the screed supports weight, Schlüter-DITRA matting can be installed - usually 48 hours.
Panels introduce micro-fine cracks which reduce stress and eliminate the need for fibre reinforcement in the screed.
The studded panel creates sections in screed and micro-fine cracks so no movement joints required.

Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-THERM is a quick reacting and easy to install radiant headed screed assembly with low construction height and significantly reduced running costs. The floor heating system is easily adjustable and ideally suited for use with low temperatures, since the screed volume to be heated or cooled is relatively small. The complete assembly is uniquely guaranteed to ensure a crack free tiled finish throughout its lifetime. It is suited to both new build and renovation projects, however it can equally easily be connected to an existing radiator system or directly pumped off the boiler for extensions and conservatories.
