Marmox Thermoblock is a load bearing thermal insulation block which eliminates the cold bridge at the wall/floor junction allowing you to stop thermal bridging. Until recently any insulating material placed beneath a supporting wall would be crushed but Thermoblock solves this problem as it is able to withstand a load of up to 9N/mm2. Not only does Thermoblock provide thermal insulation properties but it also creates a moisture barrier. Thermoblock was created to provide an easy, affordable and effective solution for the problem of thermal bridging.

Building regulations in the UK and Ireland state “The building fabric should be continuous over the whole building envelope and constructed so that there are no reasonably avoidable thermal bridges in the insulation layers caused by gaps in the various elements.” BBA certified Marmox Thermoblock satisfies this requirement by connecting the wall insulation with the floor insulation.

When installing Marmox Thermoblock, MSP360 Adhesive & Sealant should be used between blocks to prevent moisture creeping up into the joint and also for timber construction to seal the top surface of the block to the sole plate. Please see the below tables for coverage.

Marmox Thermoblock is sold in full cartons; 600x100x65mm blocks come in cartons of 18 while 600x140x65m blocks come in cartons of 12.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are Monday through Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) from 7:30am - 6:00pm. Most deliveries leave on Express Delivery for 1 - 2 working day delivery service.

A 'working day' is Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Weekends and bank holidays do not count as working days.

FREE 1-2 working day delivery service for all orders over £150 (excluding VAT). This excludes shower screens, Pallet Adhesives, Lustrolite and special order items. Conditions apply - see Delivery page for further details.

Saturday deliveries are available for Mainland UK only and are for orders over £150 (excluding VAT). There is an additional charge of £15 (excluding VAT) for a Saturday delivery.

Delivery Damages
