The Genesis EAQ Aluminium Quadrant Tile Trim is a curved-edge aluminium profile designed to protect and finish exposed tile edges. Its quadrant shape adds a soft, decorative transition between tiled surfaces and adjoining finishes, making it ideal for external corners, window reveals, boxed-in pipework, and splashbacks.

Manufactured from high-grade anodised or powder-coated aluminium, EAQ trims provide excellent impact protection while maintaining a sleek, modern look. Available in a wide range of heights (6mm to 12mm) and over 20 stylish finishes, the EAQ trim is a popular choice for both residential and commercial tiling projects.

While primarily designed for walls, EAQ trims can be used on low-traffic floor edges or transitions. Ideal for splashbacks, corners, and boxed-in pipework.

Do I need to mitre the corners?

No – use the matching Genesis EAC external corner pieces for a clean, mitre-free finish.

Follow the guide below to install the Genesis EAQ Aluminium Quad tile trim

  • Select EAQ according to tile thickness
  • Trowel tile adhesive over the area that forms the perimeter of the tiled covering.
  • Press the perimeter of the tiled covering.
  • Trowel additional adhesive over the perforated anchoring leg to ensure full coverage.
  • Solidly embed the tiles so that the tiled surface is flush with the top of the profile, the profile should not be higher than the tiled surface, but rather up to approx. 1mm lower.
  • Fill the joint completely with grout.

Click and Collect

We offer a free Click and Collect service on all stocked items at our main warehouse. Click and Collect orders are available for collection from 08:30am to 16:00pm Monday to Friday. Please allow 2 hours from your order to when you come and collect. Please wait for and bring your order confirmation paperwork with you.
