Mapei Ultracare Water-Based Grout Release (1 Litre)

UltraCare Grout Release is a water-based product for the pre-grouting protection of porous materials (suitable for cementitious grouts only). Can also be used as a sacrificial protector on non-porous materials with a textured surface to make the removal of grout and installation residues quick and easy. The product is also ideal for terracotta, klinker and natural, artificial and engineered stone. When applied before grouting, UltraCare Grout Release prevents the grout from penetrating the microporosities of tiles and makes it easier to remove excess grout, thus avoiding unpleasant halos or a “picture-framing” effect. Suitable for cementitious grouts.

Technical Characteristics of Mapei Ultracare Grout Release

UltraCare Grout Release is a water dispersion made of water-repellent microparticles, which protects surfaces from staining before sealing joints with cementitious grouts. UltraCare Grout Release does not affect the adhesion of the grouting to the tiles.

We offer a free Click and Collect service on all stocked items at our main warehouse. Click and Collect orders are available for collection from 08:30am to 16:00pm Monday to Friday. Please allow 2 hours from your order to when you come and collect. Please wait for and bring your order confirmation paperwork with you. Collection address is Tile Fix Direct, Unit 1 Hollybush Lane, Ash Vale, GU11 2PX.
