Installation & Use Notes

  • Subfloor Preparation: Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and free from debris. Suitable for both concrete and timber substrates.
  • Insulation Boards: For optimal efficiency, use uncoated insulation boards on concrete and coated boards on timber substrates.
  • Mat Layout: Roll out the mat with the mesh side down. To navigate corners, cut and turn the mesh (do not cut the heating cable).
  • Floor Coverings: Ideal for tile and stone floors. For vinyl, carpet, or engineered timber, cover the mat with a suitable self-levelling compound before laying the final floor covering.
  • Thermostat Compatibility: Compatible with a range of thermostats, including programmable and smart options.
